Matt camellia (925 Sterling Silver collection)

This miniature natural matt porcelain coloured camellia exhibits fine detailing on each of the petals, with the colour being of an ivory hue, the natural shade of porcelain.

Based on a very beautiful camellia from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the flower is handmade in Italy to our bespoke design, approx 40mm in diameter although as each flower is individually made this may vary slightly.  All other parts of the product, including our presentation boxes, are handmade in Sheffield, England and final assembly takes place by our team in London, who mate the flower to our 925 Sterling Silver clasp.

Each Sterling Silver Boutonniere comes in a custom presentation box with logos foil blocked (a type of embossing) in silver.  Each item is inspected and hallmarked by Sheffield Assay office with a hallmark consisting of four parts:

  1. "WY": The mark of William Yates of Sheffield, one of oldest master cutlers in the city, having first been established in 1750 and remained in the same family's stewardship until 2003
  2. "925": The mark of Sterling Silver, denoting a content of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals to ensure an increased hardness, as silver in its natural state can be very soft.
  3. The Yorkshire Rose: The mark used to denote the Assay Office at which the item was inspected and hallmarked (there are numerous offices across the UK).
  4. "O": Denoting the year of hallmarking, being 2013.
